Interview ya T.I.D na Sporah Show ya Uingereza

 

Mtangazaji wa kipindi cha The Sporah Show, Sporah Njau hivi karibuni alijikuta katika wakati mgumu alipofanya interview na muimbaji mahiri nchini, Khalid Mohamed aka TID kwenye show hiyo kutokana na maswali yake yaliyogusa mambo ya ndani ya mkali huyo.

Sporah alimuuliza maswali yaliyogusa masuala mazito katika maisha ya msanii huyo ikiwa ni pamoja na shutuma kuwa anatumia madawa ya kulevya, tabia yake inayotafsiriwa kama ya dharau, kuwa na hasira, kupungua kwa afya yake na suala la kifo cha aliyekuwa rafiki yake, Albert Mangweha. TID alikuwa akijieleza zaidi kwa lugha ya Kiingereza huku akitumia Kiswahili kidogo. Haya ni baadhi ya masuala aliyoulizwa na kujibu:

Kuhusu sababu ya kifo cha Ngwair

I don’t have a crew kwasababu he was away, he was in South Africam actually in Johannesburg. He was on tour it was actually a proper time we wanted him to go that big baada ya ile nyimbo tuliyofanya ‘No Beef’ and it was getting a lot of airplay, so we thought that could be the right time for him.

We gave him a concert abroad ili apate exposure so when he comes back he is gonna be on the right time. Lakini ndio hivyo bahati mbaya we just heard like he was unconscious then he stopped breathing, they took him to hospital and he was lastly pronounced dead. Sasa mimi hata sijui, I am in Tanzania and I haven’t slept for the past two months kwahiyo sasa sielewi ni nini tatizo limeenda. Wao wamesema it’s a sudden death hivyo ndivyo wameandika kwenye certificate yake ya death. I am gonna miss this guy, damn only God knows how much.

Kuhusu lini ataacha kuwa mtu wa sifa

This is whom I am, sometimes it’s hard for people to understand, me I am not like them, I am different, I am the other guy they see me on TV so when they think I have Misifa, maybe that’s the attitude that I was born with. It’s very hard to explain, it’s very hard to make everybody like you while you are on the spotlight, it’s impossible. And sometimes I have to get it along, all my tweets are everywhere, it’s crazy. When I’m saying am taking a shower right now, people say ‘why are taking shower right now’ they have to comment about me.

Kuhusu shutuma kuwa anatumia madawa ua kulevya

People say a lot of things about me, they were just trying to exaggerate my life. Yes I’m smoking marijuana, that’s my sensitive thing. Hata kama promoter amenikuta nimelala, I had too much to drink., I am tired of the show, nimesafiri siku nzima, nimetoka zangu Dar es Salaam kwenye msiba, I have to be tired, I am a human being, I don’t have any access to drugs in the UK, how can I get drugs here? That’s impossible but to me it’s because I am on the spotlight and everybody is tryna get the advantage of it.

And I really don’t know who are they, do they like me? Do they fancy my fortune? Do they wanna be like me? Do they appreciate the talent I have been giving for all these years? Au do they want to come around and make a point? So I am gonna do what I do best, give them right tunes, connecting my music to the world like what I am doing right now. These is more like a third time me and you (Sporah) we are talking right here, people with drugs don’t have a capability of making music. Some of them do, but I am not the one, I am very focused I have a family, I have a band, I need my future, I need to fulfil my dream. So whatever they say, it’s not gonna stop me from doing, being the best.

I’m fit, I am healthy, I don’t care about what people say about me, it’s my weight, it’s my life, it’s my health. If am good, am good.

Yeah I am fine, I am healthy

I don’t think you are healthy though

Are you my doctor? Are you tryina be my doctor?

I mean you don’t look healthy

You think so but I look healthy. You haven’t taken me to hospital how do you prove such a thing? So you have a point, you brought me here today to tell me unhealthy, you wanna have an interview with an unhealthy person? I really don’t appreciate what you are saying if you are coming to the point like telling me straight I am unhealthy. I am healthy, you are not a doctor, you haven’t checked me yet so don’t tryna be.. (tusi)
