Lady Gaga has unveiled a high-tech vehicle dubbed the world's first flying dress on the eve of her third album launch.
The 27-year-old singer, real name Stefani Germanotta, was lifted several
feet off the ground by a contraption called Volantis inside a huge New
York building, where she held a party for her new album Artpop.
The battery-powered device, which features a flat disk and a moulded
body suit, propelled her around 20ft through the air before she landed
in Brooklyn Navy Yard.
Artpop goes on sale from today after a delay following a hip injury.
